There continues to be a rise in home burglaries in Sunbury. Sergeant John Letchford said there about 12 hot spots police were monitoring, including rural areas. Homes are being targeted when unattended, with even large items such as trailers being taken by bold thieves. Sgt Letchford said observing suspicious behaviour and ensuring properties were locked were the best way the public could helpin reducing burglary rates.
